My prospect spouse borrow money for investment
This morning, i talked to a prospect. This prospect partner passed away last month due to heart failure. Further findings, the deceased have left the family a few liabilities, namely:
- house loan
- personal loan (for investment), guaranteed by 3rd party.
- 3 fatherless children and a spouse
To complicate matters, the late also did not leave testaments (wasiat), so the family had to rely on existing law, namely faraid (because they are muslim).
Let's concentrate topic on a personal loan for investment. Based on prospect relationship with the deceased, the late was a quiet person, did not share a thoughts or feelings. The late was the kind of person who just listened and followed other people given advise. Because of the stress, the late feels wants to escape; so the late resort to high-risk investment, which is forex trading.
The Forex it is not regulated in Malaysia, formally by security commission Malaysia, to take deposits, to do capital market and investment activity. The late is influenced in high return and was influenced to get leverage return. The late went to the bank and asked for a loan RM 40,000 with a guarantee from the siblings. The spouse finds out and had a huge fight in the hospital a few days before the late passed away. The spouse is not sure what happens to the capital. The spouse did not know what to do next and how to get back the capital (whether it is lost or not).
The lesson here is that we humans have emotions of greed. The greed blind us with all gratification. Thus, accept what we have; not everyone deserves a big win, but everyone deserves a peaceful life.
